Is it nail fungus?

Not only the skin on your feet is susceptible to fungal infections: it's possible for your nails to become infected as well. Some of the first signs and symptoms of nail fungus include spots under the tip of your nail that are white or yellow in colour. If the infection spreads, your nails may discolour, thicken, become brittle or change shape.

As with athlete's foot, it's essential for you to seek proper treatment since nail fungus won't clear up on its own. It may even be necessary to consult your doctor if the problem persists.
